Lim Poh Teck
Dr Lim Poh Teck is the current president of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association and NAFA Lecturer. He graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore in 1987 and Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore in 1989. He holds a PhD in Fine Arts from Peking University in China, an MA in Media Arts from the University of New South Wales in Australia, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education from the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Dr. Lim has represented Singapore in many international exchange conferences and art exhibitions. He won the "Australian Young Artist Scholarship" in 1986, the "First Prize of the 9th UOB National Painting Competition in Singapore" in 1990, and the "Young Artist Award" from the National Arts Council of Singapore in 1997 in recognition of his work and outstanding contributions to the field of art.
